Abdullahi Sani Rogo, raised concern over the devastating impact of gully erosion in Kwanyawa Town, Karaye LGA of Kano State. It urged NEMA to provide immediate relief to affected residents and mandated the Committee on Environment to assess the damage and report within four weeks. The motion highlighted threats to homes, farmlands, and key infrastructure.

4. During the 26th June, 2025 plenary session, Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere moved the motion on a call for intervention to address the gully erosion in Ideato North/South Federal Constituency, Imo State and it was seconded by Hon. David Agada. The House reolved to urge the Federal Government to declare Ideato Federal Constituency an erosion disaster zone, and take drastic steps to curtail gully erosion in the communities in Ideato North/South Federal Constituency.
