    "The 10th Senate has made effrot to create an Electoral System and Institution that is robust, transparent, inclusive by initiating and deliberating on these bills: 1. The senate passed the Electoral Act (Amendment) Bill (SB. 119), on 16th February 2026 and the President signed it into law on 18th February 2026. Other reforms that are under deliberation by the Senate include: 2. Bill to reform State Independent Electoral Commissions (SIECs). 3. Bill to introduce independent candidacy in elections. 4. Bill to establish the Electoral Offences Commission. These reforms aimed at strengthening the Electoral system to make it robust and transparent. "
