    The 10th Nigerian Senate has initiated the constitution reform process. On February 15, 2024, the Senate constituted a 45-member committee to review and amend the 1999 Constitution. This committee is chaired by Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, with Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele serving as the deputy chairman. The committee has set 24 months from its inaugurations date (14 February, 2024) as Deadline.
