  "The Senate has engaged in multiple security briefings with the Service Chiefs, National Security Adviser, and heads of security agencies to assess evolving threats. The Senate has passed several motions urging improved coordination between security forces and intelligence agencies, investment in border control and management to curb arms smuggling, and socio-economic interventions in regions affected by terrorism (especially North-East and North-West). Through the constitution amendment process, the Senate is exploring decentralisation of policing powers. The Senate has considered the Victim Support and Post-Conflict Recovery Bill, aimed at providing legal backing for victim rehabilitation, addressing grievances and supporting rebuilding of affected communities."
