  "The 10th Senate, in collaboration with the National Assembly management, has overseen upgrading of access control systems, including installation of more advanced security scanners at all entry points and tightened identification protocols for access to the complex to prevent unauthorised entry. The Senate leadership has engaged with Department of State Services (DSS), Nigeria Police Force, and other security agencies to provide dedicated security coverage during plenary sessions and major public hearings. During external protests at the gates of the National Assembly, the Senate leadership coordinated with law enforcement to maintain peaceful engagement with protesters and prevent breaches into the complex, thereby ensuring safety of lawmakers and staff while respecting citizens’ right to peaceful assembly."
